Mohamed’s expertise is advising businesses experiencing transitory or more serious structural difficulties, and proposing suitable strategies.
This involves putting in place an initial safeguard plan to protect the business until solutions can be implemented through schemes of arrangement with creditors or the appointment of an insolvency professional, through to initiation of insolvency procedures and sale of business assets.
Through his experience of these situations, Mohamed is well placed to advise clients interested in acquiring the assets of insolvent businesses, and organizing the necessary procedures at the commercial court.
He is also a commercial litigator, representing businesses and management to bring or defend claims in the field of commercial contracts, warranty claims following the sale or acquisition of a business or company, banking and unfair competition claims.
Mohamed is a member of the French Insolvency Practitioners Institute; as well as the Association for Prevention and Turnaround of Businesses, which is professional forum for practitioners in this field. He is also a member of the International Bar Association.
He also teaches business law at the EM Business School and holds masterclasses on topics within the fields of his practice.
